Auto Twitter is now working as normal. You will have to re-authorize your account with the new plugin (version 1.62). Fun.ly Cash users please note: Functionality will be back to normal tomorrow. Just another bump in the road, and we’ve managed to prevail yet again! Thanks to those that have supported us in testing and troubleshooting.
Ciao!

We are still trying to get twitter’s attention regarding the update. They finally got back to us 5 days later, but simply to ask “Is the problem still happening?”. We are doing our best to get to the bottom of this, as it stands it doesn’t look like there’s anything in our code that is causing this, it appears to be on twitter’s end. Please stay tuned for updates, and again, our apologies.
All those who e-mailed (hundreds) will be notified as soon as we’ve gotten to the bottom of this.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

We wanted to let our beta users know that you can now connect Fun.ly Cash to both your Facebook AND Twitter accounts. What does this mean? It means you can now automatically send any shortened Fun.ly Cash link straight to your Facebook Wall or your twitter feed quickly and easily from your Dashboard! It’s never been easier to start earning cash for your clicks with Fun.ly Cash. We recommend starting out by posting headlines from Digg, Reddit, Fark.com, CNN, and other news sites. All you need to do is create a unique comment about the article, paste the URL and click “publish”, and it will be posted to as many facebook and twitter accounts as you can connect- There is no limit to the amount of accounts you can connect to your dashboard.
FUN.LY CASH CHATWe’ve also created a new chat room for everyone to discuss Fun.ly Cash, including methods of promotion, ways to get extra traffic and clicks, and whatever else we feel like. Please keep this area family friendly. You can now access Fun.ly Cash Chat from your Dashboard. We already have a few users who have entered the discussion as early as last night.
SUMMARY
Log in to your Dashboard and connect your Facebook and Twitter accounts right now, and start pushing out unique links to your FB friends and twitter accounts. Also make sure to drop by Fun.ly Cash Chat which can be accessed from your Fun.ly Cash Dashboard. Here’s to a profitable Halloween!

Hello to all our new beta testers! We wanted to keep you up to speed on what’s currently happening with Fun.ly Cash.
Updates
The first thing we’d like you to know is that by the end of the week, you will start to see your revenue totals on the dashboard. We’re just ironing out the last few kinks, and soon you should see exactly what you’re earning per click on your statistics page.
Revenue Sharing
A lot of users have been asking what their revenue is based on, so I’ll go into a little more detail for those of you who are curious. We will display a banner ad at the top of any links you generate with Fun.ly Cash. These advertisers pay us per click (or per CPA), and we pay out 60/40 in your favor per impression. So if the daily intake is $100, 60% of that will go to our Fun.ly Cash users, only you will get paid for your share of the total unique fun.ly clicks (impressions) generated. A lot of our advertisers will be paying us on a CPA (Cost Per Action) basis, meaning they are paying us a commission for whatever sales are generated by clicks to their ads. This is good news for Fun.ly Cash users, as the potential for profit is much higher than traditional paid-per-click networks.
Changes are coming
In the coming weeks, we will be implementing some awesome new features such as the ability to share links on all of your social networking accounts right from your Fun.ly Cash dashboard, and then eventually using our wordpress plugin. We’re also brainstorming ideas to help spread the word, and coming up with unique strategies to help each one of our users market their links in a more effective manner.
Self-serve advertising
We’re in the alpha stages of a self-serve advertising platform, which will allow anyone to advertise on our system on a pay-per-click basis. This will be a great way for everyone to get the word out about their new product, service or event. Stay tuned for updates on this!
We’re all ears
We’d love to hear from any of our beta testers regarding the system (how it’s working out for you, things you’d like to see changed, new ideas, so on and so forth) so don’t forget you can send us an e-mail to funlycash@gmail.com or click on the “bug” icon in the upper right-hand section of the Fun.ly Cash Dashboard.
Have a great day and here’s to growing our businesses together!

That’s right, some time in the wee hours of October 6th, 2010, Fun.ly URL Shortener had it’s one millionth click. We feel this is a relatively important milestone so a blog post was necessary. Thanks to all our users, without you we’d be nobody!

Well what a crazy week it has been. As many of you know, earlier this week twitter suspended our access to your accounts. The reason for this was because they didn’t like that we were tweeting “I’m using Auto Twitter” on your accounts when you authorized access. We realize the error of our ways and we’re very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused any of you. We have removed that feature and have made several upgrades to the functionality of the plug-in as well. We have been assured that we are now in compliance with all of twitters rules and we are happy to see you’ve upgraded to the newest version of Auto Twitter. Thank you for your continuing support.
Please update your plugin, and note that you must re-authorize your twitter account for the plugin to work.

Twitter has responded and expressed that they would like to work together with us to make sure we are not in violation of any of their terms of service. We are in the process of updating the plugin to become more compliant and should push out an update any time now. Thanks for understanding!

We still haven’t heard anything from Twitter regarding this issue. We will continue to update until we hear anything. In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience.
